A Late 90s Chapeau for a Military Style Dress!

I have a lovely friend who contacted me to make a hat for her.  I said, "Why sure!"  Then she shared the inspiration photo of the extant dress she would be making to wear with the hat!  Like how I worded that?  Not, that I would be making the hat to go with the dress, but the dress would be made to go with the hat!  hahahahahaha!!!  That's how much I adore hats!!!  Anyway, here is the completed 1899 hat that I finished last night to go with her dress!  I can't wait to see the whole ensemble on her!!!

    I SOOoooooooo want a hat in this shape one day. Maybe, maybe maybe...we could do this shape for a Pratt project?
