To all who mourn in Israel, He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory. Isaiah 61:3

Port Townsend Victorian Festival: Sunday at the Beach

Day 3:  Sunday (Also known as Rebecca's Birthday)

On the last day of the Victorian Festival in Port Townsend, WA, Rebecca, Val, Mom and I attended a High Tea at The Commander's Beach House.  It was really wonderful and the I cheated a little and gave myself a vacation day where the sweets were concerned.  After our tea, we ladies and Sean headed to Fort Worden for a photo shoot.  If you have never heard of Fort Worden, please do yourself a favor and take a look at the link...it is a wonderland!!!  I fell in love instantly on Saturday when Mom and I drove all over it just checking it out!!!

I took over 200 pictures on Sunday alone and have narrowed down my picks to these 29.  I don't apologize for the amount...I spent the day with such beautiful people that I want to share the day with you!!!

I hope you enjoyed these!!  I had fun photo shopping some of them into my version of "paintings".  The day was so perfect, the weather lovely for a stormy day at the ocean side...even the sky was in a perfect palette to compliment our outfits!

Have a blessed Easter my friends!!

  3. Everyone looks so amazing (as usual!) and I love how the wind comes through in the photos (even though I'm sure it was... interesting to spend time in lol). Maybe I will go visit the port this summer :)

    1. Thank you Crystal! It was a super windy day and I too loved how the wind played with our dresses! It added a wonderful new dimension to the pictures! The Port is truly a fabulous place to go. So many beautiful Victorian houses and then there are the fun shops in Old Downtown!
      Blessings!
