To all who mourn in Israel, He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory. Isaiah 61:3

1884 Bee Fancy Dress Photo Shoot

Today I had to dress up as the Spelling Bee again for my boys' school.  Since it is almost time for the flowers to go to sleep for the winter, I thought it would be best if I had my "dress-completed-photo-shoot" done since I would be dressed up anyways.  My sweet Mama was kind enough to take some pics of me all dressed up!  The Rose Garden at Julia Davis Park was the setting for this Bee to be photographed! Thanks Mom!

I did my best to look like I was flitting about the roses.  Of course I had to get some semi-serious pics of the dress...It was so hard to be serious cause this outfit makes me feel fun and silly and not so serious like my other dresses do!!

Last night I made some new antennae out of glass beads and rhinestone encrusted vintage ball buttons...A bee has to have a little bling don't ya know!

Have a wonderfully blessed day my friends!!

  6. Hahaha, serious photos of this dress are rather impossible, each and every one make me laugh. And the "running/flying away" one... OMG haha
