1863 Damask Rose Semi Sheer Gown

Yesterday I got to wear my 1863 Damask Rose dress to The Museum Comes To Life and I LOVED how it turned out!!  That is the reason for soooooo many pictures in this post!!  The whole outfit made me exceedingly happy and giddy and pretty!!  Can't wait for another event to wear it to!

I would love to have this painted...it reminds me so much of Tissot's paintings of ladies in their dresses!!

A Fitting!!!

Mama came over for her last fitting today and everything fit beautifully!  And she looked absolutely FABULOUS in her dress and hat!!!  I am sooooooooooooooo jealous!!!  I can't wait for next Saturday!  I know that I have said that before numerous times, but it is soooo true!!  Can't wait!!!

Woot Woot!! I Love it When a Project is Complete!

Mom's linen croquet dress is complete along with her hat!!  I love it when a project is finished!!  I mean totally 100% finished!  No safety pins needed on this baby!!!  Yeah!!!  Now I have time to make a dress for Gracie!!

And her hat is completed as well!  I LOVE this hat!!  It makes me so happy and I can't wait until I can see her wearing it!!  She is going to look fabulous!!!
