To all who mourn in Israel, He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory. Isaiah 61:3

The White Family on a White Christmas 2015

Hello everyone!  I hope your Christmas holiday was a wonderful one!  Mine was most excellent, joyful, calm and just plain nice.

This post has nothing to do with costuming, dresses, hats, vintage, Victorian, recipes or anything I usually write about.

This post is dedicated to my wonderful family.

These men that I live with are my biggest fans, my greatest supporters, my favorite people, the loves of my life.  They put up with my creative mess and my crazy detours to fabric, thrift and antique stores.  They put up with me dressing them in Victorian/1920s fashion.  They put up with me (sometimes) forgetting to get their dinner on the table or their laundry folded.  They proudly show pictures of my creations to their friends, classmates and co-workers.  I cannot express how much I appreciate, admire, love these people that God has put in my life.

Greg, Cody, and Colton, you are such a treasure and a blessing to this wife and mama!

I love you!

(These wonderful pictures were taken by my awesome Mama.  Thank you so much!  This family photo session was my all time favorite.  There was no wailing and gnashing of teeth because I asked for the pictures to be taken and the session was over in less than 10 minutes!)

I hope you all have a wonderful week my dear friends and readers!!

Blessings to you!
